Getting Started
In an e-portfolio, you can:
- Showcase your work, skills and accomplishments
- Collect coursework, research experiences, club memberships, leadership positions, interships, etc. in one place
- Tell a complete story of who you are and what you can do
- Help prepare for job interviews and graduate school applications
Your Portfolium e-portfolio is yours for life, even after you leave the University of Maryland, at no charge to you.
Creating your Portfolium profile
Your Portfolium profile is a gateway for employers to learn more about you. To strengthen your profile, add a profile photo, basic information, work experience, education, special skills, and a resume. Remember to connect with people you may know to grow your network.
Log in to your Portfolium account
UMD Portfolium accounts are available to all UMD faculty, staff, and students. To create your UMD Portfolium account, please use the Portfolium link located in the global left-hand navigation menu in ELMS-Canvas.
This will link your account to your UMD credentials. You can add other email addresses to your account but it is important to keep your UMD email address connected to your portfolium account to connect to courses and pathways. If you have already registered your account to a non-UMD email address please contact us for assistance.
